Hi frnds...... Microsoft has released the Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 recently!

I've listed down some of the features i found in IE8 Beta 2 which were really awesome :-
-> First and the best feature according to me is as soon as u type anything(!!) in the address bar... a box opens below the address bar giving all the possible information about whatever u r typing in the address bar by searching for that text from the internet(autocomplete feature), your saved History pages, your saved Favourites pages, and Feeds! And the speed at which this feature works is simply awesome! jus try this! really a fantastic one!
->Contains Kaspersky's Web traffic protection statistics which displays the total number of scripts scanned throught your browsing sessions... and number of scripts that were blocked!
->ACCELERATORS - This one simply deserves an outstanding credit! just highlight any word in a page.. the accelerator symbol appears at the side of the highlighted word. click on it... u can see the options for using the word in the Windows LiveSpaces blog, Define with Encarta, Mail it using Live Mail, Map with Live Maps, Search for that word with Google, and Translate the word from one language to another Using Live Translator!
->InPrivateBrowsing - This is another new feature that keeps ur browsing sessions secret by not storing the history, cookies etc if u enable this feature!
->Suggested Sites - This feature too seems intersting.. IE8 monitors your browsing sessions... and based on your visit to various sites.. it understands your interests and suggest u the sites that may match ur interests!!! Really fantastic! Isn't it??!
->WebSlices - IE8 keeps you in control of the information you care about most. Now you can subscribe to specific content within a page and monitor things like auction items, sports scores, entertainment columns, weather reports, and more. Internet Explorer 8 automatically delivers updated information directly to a Web Slice in your Favorites Bar, all without leaving the page you're currently viewing!
->All those features of IE7 like integrated serch box that supports multiple serch engines... tab features are present.
->And of course "Session Restore" feature [ which is not new to the other browsers but IT IS new to IE ;) ] is introduced is IE8.
Lacking :-
-> Download Manager :(
-> No change in UI ( as of now!). Same as IE7.. even IE7 was better since the tabs were shining! but in IE8?! :-/
-> Spell Check feature
hmmm.. lets see if the final release addresses these issues!! anyways...... IE8 is neat and cool! cheers!
